Individual Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy is a collaborative space designed just for you. It’s a place where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with understanding, curiosity, and compassion. In our sessions, we explore themes that matter the most to you, uncover patterns that may be holding you back, and develop strategies for living a more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling life. Therapy is about helping you connect with your own resilience, insight, and inner resources so that you can navigate challenges with empowerment and confidence.

I work with individuals on a wide range of concerns, including some of the following:

  • Stress and anxiety: Managing worry, overwhelm, or chronic stress in daily life.

  • Depression and low mood: Exploring underlying patterns, cultivating coping strategies, and reconnecting with purpose and meaning.

  • Relationship challenges or patterns of people-pleasing: Improving communication, setting boundaries, and navigating family, romantic, or professional relationships.

  • Difficulty setting boundaries or asserting needs

  • Life transitions, identity shifts, or burnout: Adjusting to career changes, relocation, or shifts in family dynamics.

  • Healing from emotionally unavailable or critical caregivers

  • Emotional regulation: Developing skills to manage intense emotions and respond more effectively in challenging situations.

  • Self-esteem and self-compassion: Building a healthier relationship with yourself and cultivating inner confidence.

  • Multicultural community concerns, including:

    • Balancing family expectations with your own needs

    • Setting healthy boundaries with immigrant parents

    • Exploring self-identity in multicultural or immigrant communities

    • Developing a grounded and authentic sense of self while honoring cultural roots

  • Women’s mental health, postpartum depression, and new motherhood

Each person’s journey is unique, and our work together is tailored to your goals, experiences, and values. Therapy is an intentional space for growth, insight, and healing, and I aim to make it a warm, supportive, and empowering experience every step of the way.
